Connor Fields is a three-time Olympian, two-time World Champion, and the only American to win Olympic Gold in BMX Racing — and the only Olympic athlete to both win the Games and nearly die competing in them.

At the 2016 Rio Olympics, Connor claimed Gold. At the 2021 Tokyo Games, a high-speed crash left him unconscious for five days with a traumatic brain injury, brain hemorrhages, broken ribs, a collapsed lung, and torn ligaments. After a year of rehab, he returned to his bike on the first day he was cleared — determined to go out on his own terms.

Since retiring, he's become an Emmy-nominated PBS host, commentated NBC's Emmy-winning 2024 Olympics coverage, serves on the boards of USA Cycling and USABMX, and delivers his keynote — inspiring others to keep moving forward after wins, losses, and brushes with death.

Dr. Scott Hall is a board-certified Family Medicine physician with a sub-certification in Sports Medicine and an Associate Professor at the University of Utah Department of Family and Preventive Medicine. He earned his MD from Ohio State University College of Medicine and completed his residency and fellowship at Grant Medical Center in Ohio.

Dr. Hall specializes in family medicine, occupational health, and sports medicine, and serves as Medical Director for Family Medicine at the Sugar House Clinic.

Dr. Don Williams is a board-certified radiologist specializing in musculoskeletal imaging. He earned his BS in Economics from Brigham Young University and his MD from New York University. He completed an internal medicine internship at the University of Utah, a diagnostic radiology residency at Boston Medical Center, and a musculoskeletal imaging fellowship at the University of Utah.

Dr. Williams offers MSK subspecialty treatments, image-guided aspirations, injections, and biopsies. With a passion for the outdoors and sports, he has a particular interest in sports-related injuries and using advanced imaging as a diagnostic tool to help patients return to the activities they love. He speaks English and German.

Dr. Simonetti is Director of the Obesity Medicine Program and Co-Director of the Comprehensive Weight Management Program at the University of Utah. She earned her medical degree from the University of Utah School of Medicine, completed her internal medicine residency at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center in Boston, and pursued a fellowship in Obesity Medicine and Clinical Nutrition at Boston University Medical Center.

Board-certified in both internal medicine and obesity medicine, Dr. Simonetti brings nearly 15 years of experience to the field. She has authored numerous peer-reviewed publications and book chapters on obesity treatment and contributed to the development of the American Association of Clinical Endocrinology obesity treatment guidelines. A strong advocate for obesity education and improved access to treatment, she is also the founder of the Mountain West Obesity Society.

Dr. Simonetti’s research focuses on understanding the genetic factors that contribute to obesity and exploring targeted approaches to its treatment. She is a recipient of the Spencer Fox Eccles School of Medicine Alumna of the Year Award. Originally from Brazil, she is fluent in Portuguese and Spanish and is deeply committed to serving underserved communities.

Dr. Aaron O'Brien is a board-certified orthopedic surgeon specializing in foot and ankle surgery. He earned his BS in Behavioral Science from Utah Valley University and his MD from the University of Iowa Carver College of Medicine. He completed his orthopedic surgery residency at the University of Texas Health Science Center and a foot and ankle fellowship at the Cleveland Clinic.

Dr. O'Brien is committed to listening to his patients and developing personalized treatment plans that align with their goals and lifestyle.

Dr. Reed Nelson is a board-certified anesthesiologist based in St. George, Utah, and Associate Dean of the Southern Utah Regional Medical Campus (SURMC) for the Spencer Fox Eccles School of Medicine at the University of Utah. He leads the development of a regional campus focused on training primary care physicians for rural Utah communities.

Previously, Dr. Nelson served 17 years as Medical Director of Surgical Operations, Acute Pain Services, and Obstetric Anesthesia for Intermountain Health, with a focus on perioperative care and opioid stewardship. He is a partner and former CIO at Mountain West Anesthesia, and CEO and co-founder of RxCheckIn, a healthcare software platform tracking opioid-related outcomes post-surgery. He also serves as Director of Anesthesia for the Texas Podiatric Medical Foundation, participating annually in medical missions in San Miguel de Allende, Mexico.

Dr. Nelson holds a BA in Mandarin Chinese and an MPH from the University of Utah. He earned his MD from George Washington University School of Medicine and completed his anesthesiology residency at the Medical College of Wisconsin. He holds ASRA Ultrasound-Guided Regional Anesthesia Portfolio Certification.

Dr. Edward Prince is a board-certified orthopedic surgeon specializing in hip and knee replacement surgery, including complex revisions. He earned his BS in Biology from the University of Utah and his MD with AOA honors from the Medical College of Wisconsin.

Dr. Prince is passionate about improving quality of life for his patients and helping them regain mobility. His focus on high-volume hip and knee replacements allows him to continuously refine his technique and deliver strong patient outcomes.

Dr. Alan Sutak, MD is a board-certified orthopedic surgeon with specialized expertise in hip and knee reconstruction. He earned his Bachelor of Science in Physiology and Developmental Biology from Brigham Young University before completing his Doctor of Medicine at Texas A&M Health Science Center College of Medicine, where he graduated with honors and was inducted into the Alpha Omega Alpha (AOA) Honor Medical Society.

Dr. Sutak completed his orthopedic surgery residency at the Mayo Clinic, where he was recognized by his peers with a prestigious award honoring the most compassionate, dedicated, and skilled resident in the program — a distinction that reflects the patient-centered philosophy he carries into every aspect of his practice. He then pursued advanced fellowship training in adult reconstruction at Duke University School of Medicine, further refining his expertise in complex joint replacement.

His commitment to this specialty is deeply personal. As an undergraduate, Dr. Sutak witnessed a patient emerge from knee replacement surgery overcome with emotion — finally free of a cane and able to play with his grandchildren. That moment became the foundation of his career: helping patients reclaim the activities and relationships that matter most to them.

Dr. Sutak's dedication to service extends beyond his clinic walls. He has volunteered with Operation Walk, traveling to El Salvador to perform hip and knee replacements for patients who otherwise could not access care — bringing the gift of mobility to underserved communities abroad.

Outside of medicine, Dr. Sutak is a devoted family man who enjoys golf and staying active with family and friends.
